Evening Workshop

Learn to make a delightful cuff with Sunny Carvalho! Using soft, pretty wool felt and embroidery stitches, this class will be a fun, relaxing day of hand-sewing. We will also discuss my method of over-dyeing wool felt.

Kit Fee: None – but I will have small packages of my dyed felt and my ceramics pieces available for purchase.

Supplies:

• A magnetic clasp (1/2”, although if you can’t find that, the slightly larger ones will work). You might want to bring 2 in case you are a fast stitcher, you can make a second cuff.
• Wool or wool blend felt in various colors. You will only need very small amounts of this since we will cut it into small pieces to stitch back together. I buy mine on Etsy where you can get lots of colors in one listing. Do a search for “wool felt”.
• Embroidery Floss in colors you like
• A Needle
• Small Scissors
• Buttons or charms that you like (the ones on the cuff in the pic were made by me. I will bring some if anyone wants to buy them to use on their cuffs)
