About 5 years ago my friend Sue Pelletier said to me….”hey Kim you should teach at Art Is You.” I taught at another retreat and had so much fun so I was excited to meet Sal and Ellen and the ARt Is You family.

Well I had no idea. The other retreat was great but this was home.

I instantly felt accepted and loved and I found my tribe. The thing about Art Is You is that they encourage you to get to know everyone through shared lunch and other activities. It’s not just classes it’s connection. That connection is a big deal. It supports us to share so even as a teacher I learn just as much as my students!

Which reminds me there also isn’t that strange “teachers don’t talk to the students” thing that is sometimes experienced….we are all part of the family. All here for the same reason to learn, to grow and to love life.

Kim is joining us in Minneapolis:

and shop at her fabulous table at Art Trunk.
